Scott Deacon has been a professional within the high-tech industry for over twenty years. He has worked for some of the world’s largest technology companies, holding positions in the United States and Australia. He specializes in high-tech security, cyber safety, and managing IT security risk for governments.

Scott holds a number of IT and security industry qualifications, including formal electronics trade qualifications. He also holds a master’s degree in Management Information Systems and is a graduate of the Australian Federal Police Management of Serious Crime program focused on cybercrime.

Scott is married with two internet-enabled teenage children, and he lives in Canberra, Australia.
